Jordanian community

The Jordanian community in Canada is smaller than the Syrian or Iraqi communities in some cities, but it is visible around universities, immigration offices, and mansaf tables in Mississauga, Toronto, Ottawa, and Calgary. Someone looking for Jordanian food usually wants mansaf, maqluba, or Jordanian-style manakish, not a generic Levantine menu that blurs everything together. This page links restaurants and services that chose the Jordanian tag; they may also carry Levantine when the kitchen is shared. The directory does not force a nationality on every listing; a clinic or law office can serve the community without a cuisine tag. Halal is independent of nationality. We publish a unique intro so this hub can be indexed even with few listings at first, then city links fill in as more businesses go live. If mansaf is not in your city yet, start from the communities index or the city restaurant hub. Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Lebanon also meet under the Levantine tag when the search is for mezza and shawarma without one nationality.
