The Iraqi community is one of the oldest Arab communities in Windsor, on the Detroit River, and it is also strong in London, Ontario, Toronto, Mississauga, and Calgary. Searching for Iraqi food usually means masgouf, dolma, qeema, or tannour bread, not a Levantine menu. This Iraqi community page on Arab Canada gathers restaurants, shops, clinics, and associations that chose the Iraqi tag, including Windsor businesses that never appear in “shawarma” results.
